Sunshine Cake(Sponge) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
6 eggs, beaten separately
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sifted cake flour
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. flavoring of choice

Preparation

Use Loretta Hilton's Chocolate Cake recipe.
Substitute 3/4 cup cocoa for 2 squares chocolate.
Use sweet milk for sour milk. Reduce soda to 1 teaspoon and add 1 teaspoon double-acting baking powder to dry ingredients.
