Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 chopped green pepper
    1 c. rice (makes 3 c. when cooked)
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Place in 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Add onion and green pepper to bacon grease and saute until onion is yellow.
    Combine in baking dish with boiled rice, tomatoes, bacon (crumbled), salt and pepper.
    Sprinkle Parmesan on top and bake, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
