Barbecue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) roast (pork or beef)
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
    black pepper to taste
    2 to 3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Brown each side of roast in frying pan.
    Mix and heat in crock-pot the last 4 ingredients.
    Add roast and cook on low heat 10 to 12 hours.
    Chop.
    Drain 2 cups of broth and add ketchup. Put chopped meat into crock-pot.
    Add broth and ketchup; cook about 2 more hours.
