Bean Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. dried mixed soup beans
2 Tbsp. salt
2 qt. water
2 qt. water (next day)
2 c. diced ham or sausage
1 large chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. chili powder
1 to 2 tsp. lemon juice
28 oz. can whole tomatoes
Preparation
-
Rinse dried mixed beans.
Place in large Dutch oven pan and sprinkle salt on beans.
Cover beans with 2 quarts water.
Soak overnight.
