Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Duncan Hines golden butter cake mix, cooked as directed (3 layers)
    1 stick oleo
    1 small can Carnation milk
    1 box powdered sugar
    1/3 box brown sugar (add later)
    1 tsp. vanilla (add later)
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar, oleo, 1/2 box powdered sugar and milk.
    Bring to rolling boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Add remaining powdered sugar and vanilla.
    Stir until thick enough to spread.
    If it gets too thick, add 1 teaspoon of water.
