Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) strawberry Jell-O
    1 2/3 c. boiling water
    2 c. Cool Whip
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    graham cracker crust
    1 1/2 c. strawberry halves
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in the boiling water.
    Chill until slightly thickened.
    Measure 1/2 cup of mixture and blend into thawed Cool Whip and sugar.
    Chill Cool Whip until firm enough to mound. Spread over bottom and up sides of an 8 or 9-inch graham cracker crust.
    Add strawberry halves to remaining Jell-O mix and gently spoon on top of Cool Whip.
    Chill.
