Ingredients

2 1/2 c. shelled pecans
1 egg white
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Mix sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
Set aside.
Beat egg white in large bowl.
Stir in pecans and coat thoroughly.
Add sugar mixture and stir pecans until well coated.
Spread pecans in shallow baking dish or on cookie or pizza pan.
Spread out as much as possible.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0), stirring frequently until toasted (15 to 20 minutes).
Pecans should be mostly dry when done.
Let cool for a few minutes and remove from pan.
If they stay too long, it's hard to get them off.
