No-Knead Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    6 to 7 c. plain flour, sifted
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water. Add sugar, salt and about half of the flour.
    Beat thoroughly for 2 minutes.
    Add egg and shortening.
    Gradually beat in remaining flour until smooth.
