Ingredients

1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
2/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 c. water
4 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin
Preparation

Combine sugar and cornstarch.
Add corn syrup and water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thick and clear.
Add gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
Fill baked pie shell with fresh strawberries.
Pour cooled mixture over strawberries.
Chill 2 hours.
Serve with whipped cream.
