Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked cubed chicken or turkey
    1 c. cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    1 c. frozen peas
    8 oz. water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    4 1/2 oz. jar sliced mushrooms
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. onion
    1 c. sour cream
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. crescent rolls
    1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Combine first 8 ingredients on stove top.
    Cook over medium heat until bubbly.
    Transfer to a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Place crescent rolls over top.
    Top with cheese and almonds.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 minutes or until brown.
