Fettuccine With Ham And Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced or 1 (8 oz.) can drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 lb. cooked ham, diced
    1 recipe White Sauce Base (recipe follows)
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    8 oz. fettuccine noodles, cooked and drained
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley (optional)
Preparation
    In large skillet, melt butter.
    Add mushrooms and onion.
    Cook 5 minutes or until tender.
    Add ham and mix well.
    Prepare White Sauce Base, using 1/4 cup additional milk.
    Stir in Parmesan cheese.
    Pour over ham mixture and heat until bubbly.
    Serve over hot noodles.
    Garnish with parsley and additional grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
