Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 cup cornmeal
1 well beaten egg
1 cup milk
1/3 cup cooking oil
Preparation

Sift flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together and mix with cornmeal.
Combine egg, milk and oil, add to dry ingredients.
Stir just until moistened, pour in greased 9 X 9 in. square pan.
Bake. This recipe doubles well.

25 to 30 minutes.
