Hot Dog-Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 medium potatoes, peeled and diced in bite size pieces
    1 c. Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. dried onion
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    6 to 8 hot dogs, sliced in 1/2-inch rounds
    water
    milk
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    In a large pot, place diced potatoes, cover with water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour off 1/2 of the water, add milk to just cover potatoes; bring to boil.
    Turn to medium heat.
    Add cheese, onion, salt and pepper.
    After cheese is completely melted, add cornstarch (mixed with 1/4 cup water).
    Stir well to thicken.
    Add hot dogs and mix in well on low heat.
    After a few minutes, hot dogs should be heated.
    Serve hot and add cheese to top, if desired.
    Serves 6 to 8.
