Turkey Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. chopped green peppers
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. diced pimento
    1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. cubed turkey
    3 c. cooked rice (white or wild)
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Saute onions and green peppers in butter for 3 minutes.
    Stir in flour. Add chicken broth gradually.
    Stir and cook over medium heat until thickened.
    Add pimento, almonds, pepper, turkey and rice. Stir to combine.
    Pour into 2-quart casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
