Chocolate Chunk Butter Pecan Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. (10 oz.) pkg. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1/2 to 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
In large mixer bowl, stir together butter, brown sugar, egg yolk and vanilla.
Blend in flour and salt.
Press mixture onto bottom of prepared pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven.
Immediately sprinkle chocolate chunks on crust. Let stand until softened, about 5 minutes.
Spread evenly over crust.
Sprinkle pecans over top.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Cut into bars.
Yields about 36 bars.
