Black-Eyed Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 strips bacon
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 (No. 303) can black-eyed peas
    1 (No. 303) can tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove from pan.
    Drain and crumble. Simmer celery, green pepper and onion in bacon drippings until done.
    Add peas, tomatoes and bacon.
    Season with salt and pepper. Simmer about 20 minutes.
