Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    1 lb. shortening (2 1/3 c.)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    water
Preparation
    Combine flour, shortening and salt, cutting together with a pastry knife.
    In a one-cup measuring cup, add egg, vinegar and enough cold water to make one cup.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Roll on heavily floured surface.
    Makes 4 to 6 pie crusts.
    Excellent for pot pies or dessert pies.
