Peanut Butter Crisscrosses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. peanut butter
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugars and vanilla together.
    Add eggs and peanut butter.
    Mix well.
    Sift and add to other ingredients the flour, soda and salt.
    Form into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Press with fork (crisscross).
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Makes 8 dozen.
