Easy Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2/3 c. vegetable oil, divided
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine cocoa and soda.
    Blend in 1/3 cup oil.
    Add boiling water and stir until thickened.
    Add sugar, eggs and remaining oil.
    Stir until smooth.
    Add flour, vanilla, salt and nuts (if desired).
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan (may sprinkle chocolate chips over top, if desired).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
