Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4-5 large potatoes
salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
dash of milk or whipping cream
pepper
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 large tomato (chopped)
6 slices mushrooms
2 Tbsp. parsley (chopped)
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
dash of worcestershire sauce
1 c. brown gravy
1 - 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas or 1 lb. shelled peas
Preparation

Cook potatoes in salted water.
Drain, cool, and then peel. Mash in large bowl with butter, milk, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Set aside.
Saute beef until browned, stirring to keep meat crumbled.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add tomatoes, mushrooms, parsley, tomato paste, worcestershire sauce, and gravy.
Mix well.
Add peas and cook about 5 minutes.
Spread potatoes evenly over meat.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes until top is crispy brown.
