Rhubarb Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. (about 5 c.) fresh rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. quick oats
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. corn oil margarine
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish, toss rhubarb with 3 tablespoons sugar.
    In medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar and cornstarch.
    With pastry blender or two knives, cut in margarine until coarse crumbs form.
    Stir in walnuts.
    Spoon evenly over rhubarb.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until rhubarb is tender.
    If desired, serve warm with whipped topping.
    Makes 6 servings.
