Salsa Picante - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 can pickled jalapeno peppers plus 1/2 tsp. of the liquid
    1 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. Mexican herb mix
Preparation
    Place tomatoes, onion, garlic and jalapenos in a food processor.
    Blend to desired consistency.
    Heat oil in a saucepan, add tomato mixture and Mexican herb mix.
    Bring to a boil, decrease temperature and cook gently for 10 minutes.
    Allow salsa to cool.
    Pour into glass jars and refrigerate until ready to use. Keeps one month.
