Moussaka - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 eggplant, peeled and sliced
1 lb. ground beef or lamb
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 c. cottage cheese
2 eggs, beaten
nutmeg
Preparation

Saute meat, onion and garlic until meat is brown.
Drain well. Add tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.
Simmer 10 minutes. Brush eggplant with olive oil and broil for 5 minutes on each side.
Make layers of eggplant and meat sauce in greased casserole.
Top with cottage cheese and eggs beaten together. Sprinkle with little nutmeg.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 2 hours. Serves 4.
