Crock-Pot Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 c. chopped, unpeeled apples
3/4 c. apple cider
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation

Combine apples and cider in 3-quart slow cooking pot.
Cover and cook 8 hours, or until apples are soft.
Puree in food processor or food mill.
Return to pot and add sugar and spices. Cover and cook on low for 1 to 2 hours longer.
If thicker consistency is desired, uncover and cook longer.
