Tortellini With Pesto - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. fresh basil leaves
3 cloves garlic, peeled
3 Tbsp. grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
1/2 c. olive oil
1/4 c. pine nuts
salt and pepper to taste
1 lb. tortellini
Preparation

In a food processor, combine the basil and garlic to a coarse puree. Add cheese and blend.
While the motor is running, add olive oil in a thin steady stream through the feed tube (if you do not have a feed tube, just add the oil in small amounts and process mixture in between).
Add the pine nuts and blend the mixture until smooth.
Season with salt and pepper.
Boil the tortellini.
When done, drain.
Mix pesto sauce into tortellini.
