Vanilla Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar, sifted
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Beat butter and shortening at medium speed with an electric mixer; gradually add sugar, beating mixture until light and fluffy.
    Stir in milk and vanilla.
    Yields 3 cups.
