Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 big or 2 small heads cabbage
    1/2 green pepper
    4 carrots
    1 small onion
    2 or 3 Tbsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Shred cabbage and grate or chop the pepper, onion and carrots. Combine the vegetables and the celery seed.
    Simmer the oil, vinegar and sugar together.
    Pour over the vegetables while hot. Mix well.
    This can be made a day ahead.
