Green Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked rice
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. ground parsley
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. grated onion
    2 eggs, separated and beaten
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Steam rice and add oil, parsley and onion and let stand 1/2 hour.
    Add cheese, salt and beaten egg yolk.
    Mix together and fold in beaten egg whites carefully.
    Bake in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
    Place baking dish in a pan of water to bake.
    Serve with creamed chicken, turkey, tuna, crab or shrimp. Serves 8.
