Boyfriend Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten eggs

Preparation

Combine flour and sugar.
In saucepan, bring cocoa, water, butter and shortening to a boil.
Pour over flour mixture.
Add beaten eggs.
Add soda to buttermilk.
Add buttermilk to cake batter.
Add vanilla.
Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 11-inch pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
While cake is cooking, prepare Boyfriend Chocolate Icing.
