Raisin Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. seedless raisins
    2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 well beaten egg yolks
Preparation
    Simmer first 4 ingredients for 10 minutes, then add sugar to which cornstarch has been added.
    Cook until clear.
    Remove from fire and add egg yolks.
    Pour into baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
