Low Country Beef And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef with some fat
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. rice
Preparation
    In a large pot with lid, put in stew beef.
    Cover with water. Bring to a boil, then simmer about 3 hours.
    Add water when needed.
    When meat is tender, add salt and pepper, onion and rice. Cook 20 minutes longer.
    Keep lid on pot at all times.
