Taco Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. sour cream
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1 (8 oz.) jar picante salsa
    2 large tomatoes
    1 pkg. taco shredded cheese
Preparation
    Soften cream cheese.
    Stir together softened cream cheese and sour cream until well blended.
    Add taco seasoning.
    Stir well. Layer mixture in container.
    Pour picante salsa on mixture. Distribute evenly.
    Dice tomatoes.
    Spread tomatoes evenly over mixture.
    Top with taco shredded cheese.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
    Refrigerate remaining dip.
