Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. creamy peanut butter (Peter Pan)
Preparation
    Combine these 4 ingredients in a large saucepan.
    Mix well. Bring to a boil, then cook over slow heat until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
    Remove from heat and add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and 1 tablespoon oleo.
    Let cool and beat until almost firm.
    Spread in buttered platter and cut in squares.
