Pear Relish(Yields 11 Pints) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. ground pears
    4 large onions
    9 bell peppers, chopped
    4 hot peppers
    1 1/2 c. salt
    2 qt. cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. turmeric
    5 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Cover the pears, onions, bell peppers, hot peppers and salt with water and let stand overnight.
    Drain the next morning.
    Run clear water over mixture.
