Dusky Maiden Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 level tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1 1/2 c. crushed pineapple (juice and pulp)
1/2 c. melted butter
Preparation

Sift the first 7 ingredients.
Add the raisins, nuts, crushed pineapple (juice and pulp) and melted butter; mix well.
Bake slowly in round cake pan (similar to angel food pan) at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 to 30 minutes.
