Country Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
8 slices American cheese
2 c. prepared mashed potatoes
Preparation

Brown hamburger and vegetables; drain grease.
Add tomato sauce to meat mixture.
Put half of the meat mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Layer half the cheese and layer the rest of the meat mixture and cheese.
Spoon the prepared mashed potatoes on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serves 6.
