Potato Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. milk, scalded and cooled
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
5 to 6 c. flour
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and salt.
Add eggs and potatoes; blend well.
Add milk to creamed mixture.
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water; add to rest of mixture.
Stir in enough flour to make a fairly stiff dough.
Turn out on floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic.
Put in greased bowl, cover and let rise until double.
