Candied Dill Strips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. commercial dill pickles, drained and quartered
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 tsp. alum
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in pan and heat until sugar is dissolved. Pour over pickles.
    In 4 or 5 days, they will be ready.
