Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. cocoa
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter
3 beaten egg yolks (reserve egg whites)
1 cooked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa and flour. Add a little milk until mixture is moistened well to prevent lumps, then add remainder of milk. Add egg yolks. Cook on medium heat until ready thick. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Pour into prepared pie shell. Beat egg whites with mixer until stiff. Add 3 teaspoons of sugar. Beat again and put on top of pie. Place in oven and brown meringue.
