Cheddar Herb Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 1 c.)
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In bowl, combine flour, cheese, parsley, baking powder, salt and pepper.
    With pastry blender or knife, cut in butter until mixture forms coarse crumbs.
    Stir in milk.
    Quickly mix until mixture forms soft ball.
    Transfer dough to lightly floured surface.
    Knead slightly to combine thoroughly. Roll or pat dough to 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut biscuits and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden. Makes 1 1/2 dozen biscuits.
