Apple Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1 egg
2 medium-sized sour apples, pared and cut in slices
Preparation

Mix and sift dry ingredients.
Combine milk and egg (well beaten) and add to dry ingredients (beating constantly).
Dip apples in batter, spreading batter evenly over apples.
Fry in deep hot fat, 275\u00b0 for 2 to 3 minutes or until fritters are golden brown.
Drain.
