Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3 c. chicken broth
    3 c. cubed, cooked chicken
    1 can peas and carrots, drained
    1 tsp. salt
    3 boiled potatoes, diced
Preparation
    Make pastry for 2-crust pie or mix up a batch of drop biscuits.
    Cook onion in butter until tender, but not browned. Stir in flour and salt.
    Add broth all at once.
    Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
    Add the remaining ingredients.
