Wreath Cake(Kransekake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 egg yolks
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds, ground
Preparation
    Beat butter until light and fluffy.
    Sift powdered sugar and gradually add to butter.
    Beat in egg yolks.
    Stir in flour, flavoring and almonds.
    Beat until smooth.
    Put dough in a cookie press, using no cookie tip.
    Press out into well-greased and floured rings.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned.
    Turn over to remove and cool.
    Frost as desired, using almond flavored butter icing.
    Stack rings one on top of the other to make a graduated tower (largest to smallest).
