Pineapple Sour Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
1 c. dairy sour cream
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
1 recipe meringue (2 egg whites)
Preparation

In
saucepan,
combine\tsugar, flour and salt.\tStir in pineapple,\tsour
cream
and lemon juice.
Cook and stir until mixture
thickens
and comes to boiling; cool 2 minutes.
Stir small
amount
of
hot
mixture into egg yolks;
return to hot mixture, stirring constantly.
Cook and stir 2 minutes.
Spoon into
cooled
pastry shell.
Spread meringue atop pie, sealing meringue to
crust\tand bake in a moderate 350\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
