Easy Divinity(Club Member: Renee Evans) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3/4 c. white Karo
1/2 c. boiling water
3 egg whites
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 or 2 c. nuts
Preparation

Bring sugar, Karo and water to full boil; turn flame to medium low and cook until small drops form a hard ball when dropped in cold water.
(Take about 12 to 15 minutes.)
Stir frequently to prevent scorching.
While this is cooking, beat 3 egg whites until very stiff.
Leave mixture on and pour cooked syrup into egg whites.
Add vanilla.
Do not stop beating.
Continue to beat until mixture is very stiff.
Stop and stir in nuts.
Drop immediately by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
Store in tight container to preserve fudginess.
