Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, diced
    1 large green pepper, diced
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    2 c. uncooked noodles
    1 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook onions and pepper in shortening until onion is yellow. Add ground beef; cook until brown and drain fat.
    Stir in tomatoes, noodles, chili powder, salt and pepper.
    Pour into greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Remove cover for last 15 minutes.
