Nut Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 heaping Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 scant c. butter
1 Tbsp. water
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Cream vanilla, sugar, butter and water (a little pinch of salt).
Add flour and pecans.
Mix well and shape into little balls the size of walnuts.
Use remainder of sugar and sift into a bag, drop cookies in and shake carefully.
When cookies get brown on the bottom, they are done.
They never get brown on top.
Put in a cool oven and bake at 300\u00b0 or slightly hotter.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
Some ovens may be 20 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen.
