Minnie'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 to 2 1/4 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Beat margarine, sugar and eggs with a fork or whisk.
    Stir in flour; start with 2 cups and add more if needed.
    You want to have batter stiff enough to roll.
    Add flavoring.
    Put flour on your hands and pinch a small piece of the batter.
    Make a ball out of the batter and press down on a greased cookie sheet.
    Space the tea cakes about 2 inches apart as they will spread when they begin to cook.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for approximately 8 minutes.
    Tea cakes are done when the edges look a little brown.
