Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. pineapple juice
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
    2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    3 ripe bananas, mashed
    2 qt. plus 1 c. lemon-lime soda, chilled
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add fruit juices and bananas.
    Mix well.
    Chill.
    To serve, combine with lemon-lime soda; stir well. Yields 1 gallon.
