Cottage Cheese (Schmierkase) Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. small curd creamed cottage cheese
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. all-purpose flour
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk or half cream and half milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. raisins (dark, golden or some of each)
    1 unbaked 9 or 10-inch pie shell
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine cottage cheese, sugar, salt and flour; mix well.
    Stir in eggs, milk and vanilla.
    Add raisins.
    Pour filling into unbaked pie shell; sprinkle cinnamon over top.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake about 40 minutes longer or until silver knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool on wire rack.
